Our Role Establishing Skills Insight JSC

Skills Impact held a Skills Service Organisation (SSO) role between 2016 and 2022. In 2023 we established one of ten Job and Skills Councils (JSCs), after a submission to move into the role was backed by over 200 letters of support from a broad range of industry stakeholders. This new JSC, Skills Insight, has a broader scope to deliver outcomes that support a responsive VET system and a skilled and resilient national workforce. The industry coverage of Skills Insight is similar to our past coverage as a Skills Service Organisation.

Wayne brings to Skills Impact a great depth of knowledge about training and project management. His experience includes more than 15 years’ in a range of training management positions in the Royal Air Force, including Manager of the the National Vocational Qualification Training Centre at the RAF School of Aerospace Battle Management. Wayne has also held senior training and project manager roles for ANZ, NAB and Property Exchange Australia. Prior to commencing with Skills Impact, Wayne was engaged in training development and facilitation for the Australian Institute of Conveyancers – developing and delivering compliance and systems training for licenced conveyancers and property lawyers in e-Conveyancing across Australia. Wayne has a Diploma of Business, Diploma in eLearning, Certificate in Education (Further Adult and Higher Education), Management and Management of L&D Provision, OCR Level 4 (NVQs) and is currently studying towards his Masters of Business Administration.
