Year in Review

Thank you for your contributions and support this year to improve industry skills. In 2020-21 we engaged with more than 2,300 of you to improve national qualifications and skills standards. Your input to identifying skills and training needs will support future learners and the development of industry.

We are proud to work with a broad range of industries that contribute to Australia’s food security, our homes, health and wellbeing. These industries produce essential food, drink, medicine, fibre and textile products. They are also responsible for caring for the health and wellbeing of our land and water bodies, wildlife, stock and companion animals. The significance of these industries has been highlighted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Year in Review highlights the essential skills of these industries, their remarkable resilience during a pandemic, the contribution they make to Australian society and economy, and how many are world leaders in providing quality products and services.
