Work Begins on New Australian Native and Bush Foods Project

New job roles and skills needs are emerging as interest in Australian native and bush foods increases. With new businesses being launched regularly, and plenty of room for expansion, it is important that the skills needs of this sector are supported by national skills standards.

Expertise is required for harvesting and processing wild food, exporting products according to strict regulations, and working alongside  Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities with awareness and respect.

Do you have experience working with native and/or bush food in Australia? Your input into this project is welcome to help define the skills standards for your industry.
