Still Time to Provide Feedback on Updated AHC Qualifications and Skills Standards

Provide input on qualifications and skills standards in crops, pastures and seed, and dairy and milk harvesting.

Crops, Pastures & Seed Skills Project

The qualifications and skills standards for broadacre cropping, pastures and seed have been reviewed in consultation with industry experts. They have been updated to reflect changes in technology and practice, as farmers, seed producers and seed processors respond to increasing global demand for food and fibre, and work to produce crops that are drought resistant, higher yielding, and more nutritious.

Draft qualifications and draft skills standards are available for feedback until 19 March 2021.

Dairy & Milk Harvesting Project

New robotic technologies and milking systems are becoming available to dairy and milk farmers in Australia. At the same time, traditional methods are still valued and used in a range of settings. The national qualification and skills standards have been revised to reflect the vast array of technologies used and broader range of skills needed in the dairy and milk harvesting industry.

Draft qualifications and draft skills standards are available for feedback until 19 March 2021.
