Draft units and qualifications have been developed in consultation with industry to capture skills required for job roles in timber merchandising and for working with new harvesting technologies. There’s still time to have your say on the draft documents, which are available for feedback until 28 February.

Those working within timber supply play an integral role in facilitating the sale of timber and timber products. Qualifications and skills standards have been reviewed and updated to include the specific knowledge and skills to perform this work, ensuring customers receive the right services and products.
