Seafood & Aquaculture Projects Validation stage extended to 30 Nov

Following requests from industry, and an approval from the Australian Industry Skills Committee (AISC), these projects have been granted an extension which provides opportunity for more feedback. As a result, the validation stage for the Aquaculture, Fishing Operations & Biosecurity Project and the Seafood Post Harvest Project has now been extended from 10 October to 30 November 2018.

You’re invited to read and provide feedback on the final drafts of the qualifications, skill sets and units of competency and provide any final comments.

Validation means checking and confirming that the documents are logical and factually accurate. We are seeking your views on whether the units reflect the current industry skills standards, knowledge and practices and whether all job functions are accurately described.

Validating drafts is simple

To participate in the validation process, please click the project webpage links below.

Once you are on the Project webpage, please click on the expandable menus under ‘Drafts for Validation’ and download the unit, skill set or qualification that you are interested in reviewing and validating. After reading the final draft, click the ‘provide validation and/or further comment’ button. There is also the option to provide feedback via email to [email protected] if you would prefer.
