Our Role Establishing Skills Insight JSC

Skills Impact held a Skills Service Organisation (SSO) role between 2016 and 2022. In 2023 we established one of ten Job and Skills Councils (JSCs), after a submission to move into the role was backed by over 200 letters of support from a broad range of industry stakeholders. This new JSC, Skills Insight, has a broader scope to deliver outcomes that support a responsive VET system and a skilled and resilient national workforce. The industry coverage of Skills Insight is similar to our past coverage as a Skills Service Organisation.

Proposed Qualification Model Survey

The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations is encouraging you to complete a survey on a proposed VET training products (qualifications and skill sets) model to ensure that it meets the needs of all VET system stakeholders.

Feedback is being collected from stakeholders in the VET sector involved in the design, development, delivery or use of national training products.

In preparing your response, you may like to register for and attend one of two webinars being run on reforming VET qualifications on 15 and 16 February.

The survey will close at 5pm AEDT, 17 March 2023.
