Animal Care
The projects have been submitted to the State/Territory Training Authorities (STAs/TTAs) for their consideration and to seek their support for submission to the Australian Industry and Skills Committee (AISC). Comments from the STAs/TTAs will be reviewed by the relevant Industry Reference Committees (IRCs). After consideration and sign off by the IRCs, they will then be submitted to the Australian Industry and Skills Committee (AISC), for their consideration, as part of a Case for Endorsement.
Once endorsed by the AISC and published on training.gov.au, the new and revised qualifications, skill sets and units of competency, that have been developed as part of these projects, will become available for use by registered training organisations (RTOs). Thank you to those that have participated in the project and provided input, so that the revised documents meet current standards, practices and functions of the relative job roles and activities.
Each project was approved for development by the AISC off the back of particular skills needs and gaps that were identified in last year’s 2017-2020 IRC Skills Forecasts and Proposed Schedules of Work.
