Pharmaceutical Manufacturing IRC – Feedback on Proposed Structure

The Australian Industry Skills Committee (AISC) has endorsed the establishment of a new time-limited Industry Reference Committee (IRC) for the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, and is asking for feedback on the proposed structure (follow link below).

The Pharmaceutical Manufacturing IRC will have responsibility for supporting the development of all pharmaceutical units of competency, qualifications and skill sets within the FDF10 Food Processing Training Package. For the time that it exists (a minimum of 12 months), it will work closely with the existing Food, Beverage and Pharmaceutical IRC, which will continue to have responsibility for supporting the development of all food and beverage related units, qualifications and skill sets.

The proposed structure for this IRC is now open for public comment and consultation on the AISC website, until COB Thursday 18 May 2017.

If you are interested in nominating for a position on the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing IRC, a call for nominations will be made after the proposed structure consultation period has closed.
