Our Role Establishing Skills Insight JSC

Skills Impact held a Skills Service Organisation (SSO) role between 2016 and 2022. In 2023 we established one of ten Job and Skills Councils (JSCs), after a submission to move into the role was backed by over 200 letters of support from a broad range of industry stakeholders. This new JSC, Skills Insight, has a broader scope to deliver outcomes that support a responsive VET system and a skilled and resilient national workforce. The industry coverage of Skills Insight is similar to our past coverage as a Skills Service Organisation.

Diploma & Advanced Diploma in Meat Processing Available for Further Feedback

The Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Meat Processing have been revised as part of this project, to support the leadership and management skills industry requires to keep up with strong global and local demands for Australian meat. Meat Projects Being Finalised

Thanks to your input, the below projects have been validated and have now moved to the finalisation stage. This involves review by the State/Territory Training Authorities, the IRC, the Australian Industry and Skills Committee and State/Territory Ministers. Green Walls and Rooftop Gardens Units and Skill Sets Available for Further Feedback

The Amenity Horticulture, Landscaping and Conservation and Land Management IRC reviewed draft recommendations from this project. Issues considered included the nature of the occupation and job roles, RTO delivery and the volume of learning in the units as designed.
