Nominations Open for Pulp and Paper Manufacturing Industry Reference Committee

The Australian Industry Skills Committee (AISC) is calling for nominations for all positions on the newly revised Pulp and Paper Manufacturing Industry Reference Committee (IRC).

The Pulp and Paper Manufacturing IRC will have responsibility for overseeing the development of skills standards and qualifications within the PPM Pulp and Paper Manufacturing Industry Training Package. The IRC will comprise of representatives with relevant expertise across the industry and sectors.

The AISC is calling for nominations for the following vacant positions:

  • 10 positions are allocated to organisations
    • 2 positions are allocated to organisations representing the personal and family care products sector
    • 2 positions are allocated to the paper products sector
    • 3 positions are allocated to the fibre based packaging sector
    • 1 position is allocated to an industry employer association
    • 1 position is allocated to an industry association
    • 1 position is allocated to an industry employee representative organisation
  • 2 positions are also open for industry experts with nominations from individuals with expertise in the pulp and paper manufacturing sector

The AISC is seeking nominations up until COB Friday 10 March 2017.
