National Agriculture Day 2021

Farmers have continued to provide the food and fibre we depend on throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. This National Agriculture Day, we give thanks for the everyday extraordinary efforts of our local farmers. We also celebrate the fulfilling career opportunities on offer in agriculture. From mustering cattle in the Top End to developing the next breakthrough wheat variety, there’s a career pathway whatever your passion, you really can choose your own #AgVenture.

On Friday 19 November, the National Farmers Federation is encouraging Australians everywhere to participate by:

  • Hosting or attending an AgDay Long Table Lunch to all that is good about Australian agriculture and the people behind it.
  • Sharing #AgDayAU posts on social media
  • Getting along to official Ag Day events around the country.
  • Wearing an I Love Aus Farmers shirt.

Skills Impact staff will be celebrating AgDay by wearing either their ‘I Love Aus Farmers’ shirt or another green item of clothing. We are passionate about supporting the work of Australian farmers and the many career options in agriculture.
