AISC to Consider IRC Skills Forecasts and Determine Training Package Development Projects

Each of the Industry Reference Committees (IRCs) that we provide services to have submitted their 2018-2021 IRC Skills Forecasts and Proposed Schedules of Work to the Australian Industry Skills Committee (AISC).

The AISC will consider the skills priorities that have been identified in each document to determine training package development projects. (View projects that were approved out of the 2017-2020 IRC Skills Forecasts here).

Thank you to those who provided feedback on the draft documents. Each document was developed in consultation with the IRC, with input from industry stakeholders. The draft documents were then made available for wider industry feedback and comment over a four week period, published progressively throughout February – April 2018. During this time, feedback was sought on the priority skills for industry, including skills gaps within national training packages, i.e. units of competency, skill sets and qualifications. All feedback has been considered and the final draft documents were submitted, by the relevant IRC, to the AISC on the 27th April, for their consideration.
