Additional Meat Processing Units Available for Validation

You are invited to provide validation and comment on three final draft units of competency relating to the following skills areas:

  • Oversee humane handling of animals
  • Conduct an animal welfare audit of a meat processing plant
  • Develop and implement a TACCP and VACCP plan

These units have been revised based on feedback that was received on the drafts that were made available between 12 – 26 March 2019.

The final drafts will be available on the Skills Impact website for validation and comment until 18 April 2019.

This round of feedback is about checking the documents are logical and factually accurate. Let us know whether the final drafts accurately reflect the current industry skills standards, knowledge and practices and whether all job functions are accurately described.
