Additional Drafts for Artisanal Food and Beverage Project

We are seeking feedback on additional changes made to the Certificate IV in Fermented Food and Beverage, as well as two new skill sets and nine new units of competency.

The changes are based on feedback received on the draft qualifications, skill set and units that were made available from 29 January – 4 March, 2019 covering artisan brewing, distilling, cheese making and fermenting.

Feedback received identified that the list of core and elective units in the draft qualification was not yet meeting the skills needs of the job roles covered. As a result, the new skill sets and units were developed, and the qualification updated to reflect these developments.

We are seeking feedback on whether the draft documents reflect current skills standards and practices of industry, and whether job functions are accurately described.

The draft documents will be available for feedback until 30 April 2019.
