Still Time to Feedback on Food & Beverage Processing Skills Standards

A reminder that you still have more than ten days to provide feedback on draft skills standards for a range of job roles across food and beverage processing.

Over the past ten years, consumers have become increasingly interested in the origins, contents, and packaging of food, driving innovations in traceability, automation, and contaminant control.

Your input is sought to capture the ways these industry shifts have impacted skills needs and job roles.

Comments on draft units, skill sets and qualifications to date have highlighted the need to make further major changes to some qualifications and units, and to develop new skill sets and units in certain skills areas.

The updated documents are now available for your review and feedback. To have your say, visit the project webpage.

Consultation Webinar

If you would like the chance to discuss the draft documents with the project manager and other members of your industry, you have the option to register for a consultation webinar.

Note for RTOs

Many trainers have been asking why qualifications still contain the old FDF units. A project is underway to update these to the revised FBP units. Click through to read more and be involved in this process.
